Image Access at CeBIT "Endless Scanning" and 3D Mode, All in Large Format

At this year´s CeBIT in Hannover from March 16-20, 2015, Image Access will present the latest features and technological reengineering of the WideTEK® large format scanners as well as new models from the Bookeye® family of overhead book scanners; in booth E20 in Hall 3.

The WideTEK® family of CCD based scanners, led by the largest model WideTEK 48 have been redesigned and technologically enhanced to include large color touchscreens for true walk-up scanning and the latest firmware which easily enables nearly endless scanning. In addition to these high end CCD scanners, Image Access also offers entry level CIS-based solutions, equipped with the world´s fastest CIS modules. Whether you choose an Image Access CCD-based or CIS-based scanner, you can expect the highest scanning speeds, extraordinary image quality and a price-performant solution for every market: from engineering offices to repro services scanning large format documents and nearly endless lengths.

The WideTEK® product line also includes the two flatbed scanners WideTEK 12, for documents slightly larger than A3 and the WideTEK 25 for documents slightly larger than A2. Both of these flatbeds have a unique feature: scanning in 3D mode to capture surface contours and produce 3D-like, very natural looking images of the highest quality. This feature can be implemented for a wide variety of surface control and presentation applications. The 3D scanning mode is a feature you have to see for yourself to believe.

The successful Bookeye® 4 product line has been supplemented by a new model with a V-shaped book cradle. The largest ever built A1+ scanner Bookeye 4 V1A-C35 with its motorized book cradle is a professional solution for high volume digitization projects, relieving the operator from tiring operational tasks while ensuring the highest quality images at maximum productivity scanning speeds. The glass plate and book cradle, both with a height of 35 cm (or optionally 50 cm) are motor driven and allow a particularly ergonomic operation, even when scanning very large books or source documents.

Like the other Bookeye® 4 book scanners, the Bookeye 4 V1A-C35 has all of the features highly acclaimed in numerous libraries around the world: extremely gentle book scanning with the V-book cradle, ease of use via the touchscreen and optimum UV and IR-free LED lighting. Image precision, color accuracy and an ideal book fold correction are characteristic of all Bookeye 4 book scanners.
